About Our School 

We are a two-form entry primary school providing a high quality education in an inspirational setting.  At Hatfeild we are extremely lucky to be set in an abundance of outdoor space where our children can learn. 

The children at Hatfeild are at the heart of everything that we do, every decision is made to ensure that all children feel happy, valued and experience success. We strive to ensure that our children become responsible members of society and take an active role in being the best that they can be. 

At Hatfeild we share the motto, 'together we learn, we care, we grow' and we enable this by providing a purposeful curriculum that is meaningful and challenging to the children at Hatfeild. We ensure all children have a range of opportunities and activities to enhance and enrich the curriculum both during the school day and afterschool clubs. 

At Hatfeild we focus on 'positive noticing' this creates a positive atmosphere where children understand the importance of their role within the community and are able to take responsibility for their actions. At Hatfeild our children have selected motivation, teamwork, respect, perseverance and focus as our five main learning behaviours, these are promoted throughout the curriculum to ensure that children develop socially, emotionally, academically and physically and are able to achieve the high expectations that we set for them.
